FAQ

Our newest generation of the Garlic Twister is now more ergonomic with improved grip. If you still find it difficult, here are a couple tips:

1) Crush the garlic beforehand by giving it a whack with the Garlic Twister a couple times.

2) Work your way down. Don't completely close until you have start mincing.

Please contact us if you have any more difficulty. We'd be very happy to help you, as we use this ourselves daily!

The Garlic Twister can be used to mince ginger, olives, chili peppers, shallots, certain herbs and nuts etc. Get creative and share with us your results!

Sharp enough to mince, but not sharp enough to cause harm.

Normally, when you mince the garlic, you are pushing the garlic through the rows of teeth. To form the two triangles, instead of pushing your ingredients through the teeth, twist in one direction until you form two triangles. Then, twist in the opposite direction to compact your ingredients and gather the garlic off the teeth. Finally, turn again to push the ingredients to the middle.

Please contact us if you have any additional questions, we'd be happy to communicate directly with you.

Yes, the Garlic Twister is dishwasher safe — just put it upside down on the top rack. Most users find it more convenient to just rinse clean under the faucet and let air-dry.
